Talk to adcoms, not sure you can get in any of those/how those compare, it also depends on your major which school is better though overall reputation is important. Find out the class profiles GPA range for students who have been accepted. I’ve gotten aacsb mba acceptance with 2.7 (I was encouraged to apply last fall) and now am at 2.83 taking masters prereqs for MS in another field. Very hard to raise UG GPA once you have a degree, it takes a while. You need to ask with the GPA and GRE score you have, what chance you have at each school or research the ones who publish the stats (class profile) for your program online. I can get in locally with 293 and above average quant but top school is more like 300 or 310. I was hoping for a first-time score of around 300 but didn’t put enough study weeks in, I just signed up for and took the soonest test date.

my academic result is poor. its only 53% in Bsc in Engg. is it possible for me to study in US? if yes what can be the better GRE & TOEFL score for funding?

    1. Surbhi

TOEFL can be waived, of course only with discussions from a Grad Advisor from the Dept you are applying to. Generally, it is waived for candidates whose medium of Instruction at +2 and college is English.

  19. Gourish

The average score indicate few startling facts i guess. . Take a look at average score of verbal and math, as the candidates taking GRE went on increasing the scores in verbal seems to be going down ( Implying tougher verbal section i guess) and the increasing score in math ( Probably Indian candidates were more in number). . :) And the average score in the recent years is somewhat below 1100. I didn't find anything about avg score required by universities in the above post. . All in all thanks for the the post HSB.
