How to Send Original Transcripts to Universities?
I am planning to apply in few Canadian universities. But i am confused in sending transcripts.
I want to ask how could I send my details to all universities at almost same time.
I mean all universities need original documents. And one more questions what does transcripts actually includes means which certificates and documents? I am doing B.Tech and in final year now.

Don’t send your original documents. You are not going to get the documents back from University.
You have to understand the difference between original copy and transcripts (attested).

U should first ask your shortlisted univ’s, what they need ? some univ’s accept college transcripts, some univ’s want university transcript only. generally university charge a huge amount like mine i.e. Nagpur university: 550 per page. 4years equals 8semesters-plus 1 degree-cert= 550 * 9= 5000 approx. per transcript.
there are some university’s which don’t need college/university transcript, instead of that they will ask you to get ur transcripts evaluation done by foreign evaluation agency, if possible, try to avoid such univ., because you need to first courier ur transcript to these agency’s,then they will charge you around 100$-150$ for evaluation after that they will charge you 20-40$ per college for forwarding their report.
so, its better before paying online application fees, you must first confirm all the requirements of ur shortlisted universities.

I visited Nagpur Universities’s LIT brach yesterday for the same.
They said a person has to come to the university with the xerox of your marksheets, pay 550 per page along with the exact address of the university to which u want the transcript addressed to and collect it again after 10 days.
I have sent my college’s transcript to most of the universities which was accepted and m travelling to US in another 10 days for MS.
i totally agree with that…..my bachelors transcript from DU are for INR 500 per copy and master’s INR 400 each.
Your original documents and transcripts are different. You should not send your original docs to University. Go to your university (from where you received your bachelor’s degree) and apply for transcripts (mostly you’ll get ’em at examination branch). Most of the universities charges some amount for each transcript, you’ve to take a DD of the total amount and submit at examination branch. If you’re from JNTUH, I can help you further…. Please provide your university details, so that others can help you…!!
Rohit,I can help you further , the cost per transcript if you are from JNTU-H is INR 20,and you have to apply for the transcripts from the college.

Lucky that you are from JNTU-H. The cost per transcript from University of Kerala is INR 1000. Anyone going abroad is meant to be looted!

Original transcript, as far as I know, means this: The marks, GPA, date of exam, degree and class awarded etc. taken from the original certificate/mark-sheets are re-written, signed by the university officials and issued in a condensed form (after translation to English) by the university. This could be replaced by a photocopy of the original certificate, but, even an attested photocopy lacks the authenticity of being issued by the university (the issuing authority). A university generally issues only one original certificate, but any number of original transcripts upon request and payment of a certain fee. (This was the case with my original transcript from the University of Kerala, India)
Anyway, you first ask your Canadian university whether an attested photocopy (preferably by your college principal) would suffice the requirement instead. In my case, I submitted original transcript to one (UW-Madison) and attested copies to three universities (Ohio State, U. Illinois-Chicago, Virginia Tech).
I have a doubt that in US master degree called by name MS.In Canada what it is called?MS or ME.
