President Obama announced Immigration Reform by Executive action on Friday Nov 20, 2014. It included options for Entrepreneurs to get visa to come to USA via Entrepreneurs Parole in Place.

To get more clarity on this topic, I spoke with Immigration Attorney Tahmina Watson, she specializes in Startup Visa and H-1B for Entrepreneurs. In this interview she explain about new proposals, when they will be implemented and what to expect from the new rules for Entrepreneurs who are located outside the U.S.A and those who are already in the U.S.A.

Here’s why this announcement is a big deal.
This proposal would remove to reduce the difficulty faced by Entrepreneurs like Laks who is on H-1B visa with a start-up that employe’s 450 people.
Enhancing options for foreign entrepreneurs. DHS will expand immigration options for foreign entrepreneurs who meet certain criteria for creating jobs, attracting investment, and generating revenue in the U.S., to ensure that our system encourages them to grow our economy. The criteria will include income thresholds so that these individuals are not eligible for certain public benefits like welfare or tax credits under the Affordable Care Act.
