There are 10,159 schools (colleges and universities) in U.S. that can issue admission and I-20 to International students. But, when a student in typically browsing at universities, they tend to stick with the names they have heard from friends.

Most of them are very reluctant to look at universities they come across for the first time. If you are looking to get admission with scholarship, you have to expand your boundaries. Of Course, you have to spend lot of time and have an organized search process.

If you are going to spend like 2 to 3 minutes per university website and expect to get all the admission requirements, then you are not doing an effective job of university search.

Please suggest or forward a link if it’s already posted in HSB that whats the difference in the pattern for the 2011 GRE Exam compared to that of 2010 GRE Pattern.PLease also give suggestion for:what type of certifications will help in applying for the GRad Scahool.

Instead of posting a comment asking for someone to post a link from the blog about 2011 GRE Exam, person should have searched in  the blog for “2011 GRE Exam”.

For second questions – search for certifications for grad school.

I can think of 3 reasons why this comment was posted

  • Person has never used search in a website
  • Not sure how to search (when search bar is on top of all the pages)
  • Used to getting help from others  (not taking initiative)

Learn how to search in google and how to find the information you are looking. Data is out there, you have t go and get it.  Happy Schools Blog is powered by Google Search. Pretty much all the articles published is indexed by Google and use the search bar to find the information.

If you know how to ask a question by posting a comment, then keywords required to find an answer will be in your question. Just use those keywords to find the answers within the blog.
