My experience with Happy Schools : 2 months

During the last few days, all posts I made were related to graduate school admission, short listing of universities, colleges, GRE, and TOEFL. All were education related topics. It’s been a very long day today and I don’t have any pre-written posts to publish. So, for a change, I’m going to talk about some personal matters.

This doesn’t need any time on my part to do the usual research that I do about colleges and universities, admissions and scholarships and other similar subjects. Still, I hope you’ll find some interesting answers to the following questions for today’s post:

My experience with blogging for Happy Schools

The main motivation why I put up Happy Schools was to share the wealth of knowledge I have to as much students possible. Even until now, I feel students are not that well informed about the various options they have for graduate school admission, the American lifestyle, and many important things that they must know before and during their stay here.

I have been in the U.S. for almost 5 years now and I’m still learning new things. This means I have 1,800 days of learning experience to write about. So far it’s been just 89 posts. So, I’m still left with lots of topics to write about.

Honestly, I’m learning a lot as I blog. Helpful and practical things like how search engine optimization works, how to write content that will get relevant ads placed from Adsense, and many more I discover through blogging.

For the time and effort I’m putting into this, I do expect to earn a little and that depends on how popular this blog gets. That will attract advertisers.

What types of comments does Happy Schools receive?

If you happen to read the comments below the posts, you will see lots of questions for me and lots of well-wishers and compliments.

Here are some of them:

“8 work dude…”

“Hi dude..Read your blog. Really encouraging, thanks a lot for the details..”

“the info is really gr8…i was relieved to see the info provided by u regarding backlogs……”

“Interesting, waiting for more 🙂 thanks. “

All the comments are very encouraging for me to write more and I’m able to see the reach Happy Schools has and the impact it creates among student readers. All my posts are not targeted to a specific student or any graduate school, just to clarify. It aims to help majority of student readers.

What types of email I get daily and my response

Most of the emails I get involve requests for profile evaluation. I really try my best to respond to everyone, but time is a major factor. I don’t have a team to support me. It is just me and only myself who must respond to all your emails.

Weekends and sometimes during weekdays I spend time online talking to graduate student readers about their GRE, TOEFL, grad school application, etc. I try to respond to almost all emails daily using all possible, correct information I can use.

If the questions are in general and if that will help others, I place a note on it to write about that topic in the future. So, if you don’t get any reply yet, just hand on, I will respond to you.

What future plans I have for Happy Schools

This depends on the response from student readers, popularity among students, and on monetary rewards I get for the time and effort I invest into this special blog. But for now, one thing’s very clear: I will keep on writing.
