What is Plagiarism?
- It means you are copying someone’s work and claiming to be yours.
According to Merriam-Webster Dictionary, Plagiarism means the following
- to steal and pass off (the ideas or words of another) as one’s own
- to use (another’s production) without crediting the source
- to commit literary theft
- to present as new and original an idea or product derived from an existing source
Here’s a crazy thing about Plagirism : Not only copies words count as plagiarism, even the ideas, art work count as plagiarism.

When I was in Grad School, bunch of students in Operating System Course were caught for copying programming assignments. Some were given F grade and few were asked to re-take the course.
