  2. Hello dear
I am M.Sc graduated in the field of material science and engineering(metallurgy) from Iran. How can I complete my professional course and get job in Texas?
I will be so thankful for your quick reply.

  3. Hi, Thank you very much for the support you provide to all the aspirants through your blog. I’d be glad if you could answer a question for me. I am a graduate in Mechanical Engineering and would like to pursue my Masters with subjects in computational mechanics. Recently I’ve found a new interested in Biomechanics which also includes the application of computational mechanics. But my main interest is in Computational mechanics and I also have a paper published on the research project performed during my final year of Engineering pertaining to the same subject. My question is; Will deviating from my field of interest undermine the credibility of me getting financial aid?

    1. Hi Shruti, I am a recent Mechanical Engineering graduate with Masters. My specialization in Masters has been in implementing computational mechanics to solve Biomechanical problems. From what you have mentioned, you seem to be having a fairly clear idea about what you wanted to do and my suggestion for you is to go with it. Look for professors who have similar interest in your area and then apply for those universities. As far as your question about financial aid is concerned, if you are good and the professor recognizes it, he will go out of his way to arrange funding for you.

  4. Raghu thanks a lot for an amazing video. I request you u arrange an interview with a student pursuing ms in electrical engineering, so that we get an insight of that field completely.

  5. Hey Raghu,

    Thanks

  6. I am writing this comment as I am watching the video. Can anybody answer my question?

Does Canada provide the same flexibility in transferring the field of study?

    1. @Prabhakaran. Changing major is very tough in Canada in most of the universities, US is the clear winner if you are looking to change your field. I changed my major from Electronics to Computer Science and UWaterloo is the only university which allowed me to do that.

      1. @ Sri Harsha Bolisetti. Oh! Thanks for that information. I don’t know that. Most websites publish that Canadian education is so flexible. Glad that you told me, how difficult it is.

I think you would have a needed very high grades to switch from Electronics to Computer Science. Is that right?
